Salutations from Emirates! Arrival and transfer from the airport to the hotel. We will be transferred towards the end of the afternoon to view DUBAI's most opulent city, which shines at night. We will watch the "Dubai Fountain" show, where water dances to the beat of music and light; we will be at the foot of the Burj Khalifa, the world's highest tower at 828 meters; and we will have free time to walk and dine (dinner not included) in the massive Dubai Mall. Return to your hotel.
Today was a terrific day spent getting to know Dubai. We'll pass in front of Jumeirah's massive mosque throughout our tour. Climbing the spectacular "Dubai Frame" skyscraper, which is 150 metres tall and has a stunning bridge-like shape, is also included. We continue on, past the beautiful hotel Burj Al Arab, which is built like a sail, and the palm tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah island. We'll take the cutting-edge monorail. Following that, we visit Dubai's ancient quarter and stroll through the spice and Bur Dubai souks. We'll board an Abra, a traditional United Arab Emirates vessel. We'll start with a traditional national meal in a traditional building before heading to Al Fahidi's historic neighborhood and the Centre for Cultural Understanding (with the motto "open minds, open doors"). If there are more than 15 people in the group, they will explain the local food to us. In the afternoon, we'll visit Madinat Jumeirah, a modern rendition of a traditional Arab village complete with souk, canals, and colorful villas. Afternoon free time is given near JBR beach, Dubai's most popular and busiest beach. Walking down the beach or having a drink at one of the numerous restaurants and cafés.
We're on our way to the adjacent EMIRATE OF SHARJAH, whose capital has been named the "Cultural Capital of the Arab World" by UNESCO. Al Noor Mosque, one of Sharjah's 600 mosques, is situated in a beautiful setting right close to the lagoon. We pause to appreciate its outside Ottoman architecture and snap pictures (without going inside) of the lush island of Al Noor, which is accessible through a bridge. Later, we visit the Fort of Sharjah (included in the admission price), a beautiful castle that has been converted into a museum dedicated to the reigning family. We walk through the bustling bird market.Following that, we'll visit the Museum of Islamic Civilization. a fantastic museum that teaches us about Arab and Islamic ideas and traditions. We'll visit the "Rain Room" following the museum and before leaving town, where we can walk through simulated rain without getting wet! The Gulf of Oman, with its spectacular mountain scenery, is our next destination. KHOR FAKKAN, you live in a lovely city. We'll spend some time relaxing on the beach, where you may have a great lunch at one of the beach's quaint cafes and, if you choose, swim in the warm Gulf of Mexico (dressing rooms and showers are provided). We'll stop by the ruins of the old Portuguese fortress as early as the afternoon. We will walk along the man-made waterfall, which will refresh us, and we will be able to photograph the massive amphitheatre built with a view of the ocean. We'll head for BADIYAH in the middle of the day, not far from Khor Fakkan, the nation's oldest mosque, erected in the fifteenth century in adobe at the base of a fortress with a view of the sea.We continue our journey to the EMIRATE OF FUJAIRA. Both dinner and hotel are included.
In the morning, we will journey to FUJAIRAH, the Emirate's capital, which is not far from the Omani border. Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the second-largest in the country, is famous for its 100-meter-high minarets, adobe fortification, and Fujairah Museum, which gives information on the city's history. Before our included lunch, we will have some free time before heading to the fortress of Al Hayl, which is nestled next to a small oasis in a valley between two mountains. We continue on our way to AL AIN, a stunning oasis designated by UNESCO as a world heritage site. As we approach the city, we pass by Qasr de Al Muwaiji, a fortress/museum where Sheikh Zayed, the first leader of the United Arab Emirates, was born.
We continue our tour to Al Ain, unquestionably the Emirati city with the most significant historical legacy. We visit the Camel Market first thing in the morning; we are amazed by its bustle (it is a livestock market in general, including sheep, goats, horses, but primarily camels). Later, we go to the Al Jhaili fortress, which is regarded as one of the most emblematic adobe fortifications in the entire world. We can gain an understanding of city life a century ago thanks to the Sheikh Zayed Museum. Following that, we travel into the vast Oasis of Al Ain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and take a ride in small electric vehicles to see its gardens, palm plantations, and irrigation systems. comprising lunch.Our journey to ABU DHABI, the most significant Emirate and nation's capital, will continue after lunch. We will pause at Ferrari World, a theme park dedicated to Ferrari racing vehicles, before entering the city (stop to visit outdoor sections). After that, we go to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, which is the biggest mosque in the United Arab Emirates and has an area of more than 12 hectares. It is a stunning white mosque that serves as a meeting place for people of many cultures and beliefs. The 160-meter-tall Capital Gate, which is renowned for being the steepest skyscraper in the world, will be in front of us as we proceed. We will have a fantastic panoramic view of the city from the lovely "Corniche" near the sea. As soon as it becomes dark, we'll head to The Founders Memorial, which was created in Zayed's honour, the first sultan of the Emirates. With its sophisticated night lighting, which will draw in the crowd, The Constellation stands out.
We carry on with our tour of the city in the morning. The Heritage Village Heritage is a location we will visit (admission provided), where we may learn about traditional living in the United Arab Emirates, take in the views, browse in the craft stores, and explore the little museums that detail the history of the country. Following that, we include a visit to and entrance into Qasr Al Watan, the presidential palace of the United Arab Emirates. It is a gorgeous building made of white granite that has been lavishly ornamented. Its 37-meter-tall dome and 350,000-glass chandelier lamp are its two most notable features.Following that, we travel to the "cultural district," home to a number of institutions, including the Louvre, which stands out for its magnificent architecture by the water and enormous collection.
