Trip Information
What better way to see Mount Everest than by helicopter? The Everest Base Camp Heli hike allows you to hike through the legendary Everest region, but just for a few days at lower altitudes. The walk is not difficult, and anyone can participate. The main draw of this tour is that a helicopter will pick you up from Namche Bazaar and carry you to Everest through Khumbu Valley and Glacier, Everest Base Camp, and Kala Patthar. The exhausting long day walks to Everest are replaced with a relaxing helicopter journey that provides bird's eye views of the Everest region and an up-close look at the Himalayan giants.
Our airport agent will meet you at Kathmandu's Tribhuwan International Airport. Outside the airport terminal, our representative will have a Peregrine Treks signboard. In our private tourist vehicle, you will be transferred to your hotel. Following a short break, we will have a pre-trek meeting in our office or at the hotel and introduce you to your hiking guide. Please take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions concerning your journey. We will also provide you with a duffel bag and a map. For the meeting, please bring your passport, three passport-size pictures, and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. Please settle all outstanding balances and complete the legally binding trip form and non-liability waiver during this meeting.

Though you are not permitted to enter the temple because it is strictly for Hindus only, you can observe the temple and its activities from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. It is a world-famous square two-tiered pagoda temple built on a single-tier pedestal. Boudhanath (World Heritage Site):Boudhanath is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. It was built in the fifth century. The stupa bears four pairs of Lord Buddha's eyes in the four cardinal directions, keeping an eternal watch over the people and their actions. Buddhist pilgrims can be found circumambulating the stupa and spinning the prayer wheels. Kathmandu Durbar Square (World Heritage Site): Built between the 12th and 18th centuries, this complex of palaces, courtyards, and temples served as the seat of Kathmandu's ancient Malla monarchs. The 17th-century stone inscription placed into the palace wall, with writings in 15 languages, is a fascinating artwork. The Durbar Square serves as the city's social, religious, and urban centre point. The palace also houses three museums. Today is free for further exploration and last-minute shopping in Thamel.
