Introduction
This package is aimed for travellers who want to arrange a city tour that includes airport transfers, sightseeing, and lodging. This package includes a private airport transfer with assistance, two nights' hotel accommodations with breakfast, and one full day guided city tour with monument admissions and activity fees as specified in the programme.
Day 1:
Arrive Srinagar
Start Point
On arrival at Srinagar airport assistance and transfer hotel/ houseboat check in. Overnight at houseboat/ hotel.
Day 2:
Srinagar
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a city tour of Srinagar. Visit the Mughal Gardens, Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashma Shahi. Then an excursion to Hari Parbat, a hill overlooking Srinagar with a fort built during the Durrani dynasty, a Hindu temple, mosques, and a gurdwara. Later, pay a visit to Shankaracharya Temple, which is located on the summit of the hills known as Takht-I-Sulaiman in the southeast of Srinagar. The site goes back to 250BC. Evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake, with stops at floating vegetable plantations. Overnight on a houseboat/hotel.
Day 3:
Srinagar - Departure
End Point
Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
